Except when they agree with you?
Honestly from the stream I just watched over a good few hours (i was working, honest Mr Boss) 78% seems a tad generous.
You said they didn't show any of the story which is a rather large part of the game and some might say the most important bit. So any review based on what you saw is pointless.

GeForce driver update just popped up. I wonder what that could include.

There's more going in in Cyberpunk and it's a more CPU intensive game especially in the city and the consoles can't cope. I'm surprised they even supported the Xbox One.

Still at least you know how us PC gamers feel when we get an unoptimised console ported game that struggles with physics glitches when being played at more than 30fps.

Logitech mouse by any chance? Logitech software for the mouse can interfere with the game. Try disabling it or uninstalling it. Logitech Options I think it’s called. Seen similar issues on the Reddit.
Logitech G502 here and MMB throws grenades for me just fine. I don't however have the Logitech Mouse G Hub software running, so it might just need stopping it running and disabling it from startup without uninstalling it.

"According to various reports, Cyberpunk 2077 has an issue whereby it ignores AMD’s implementation of SMT in AMD Ryzen processors. As such, gamers playing with AMD Ryzen CPUs were noticing poor performance on their systems."

More PC tweaking.

One reason I like PC gaming. People who know more than me can figure out how to make it better.

I am mostly doing side stuff. Need to rank up as keep getting rear end handed to me by the random crimes I try break up.
Made no difference to me, odd it's showing default 3GB of GPU VRAM that needs to be updated. I have always been seeing between 6-7+GB of VRAM usage when playing using MSI afterburner screen overlay.

Yep, on PC no different to the launch of Skyrim really, such as bugs to be squished for AI pathing, t-posing and pop-ins, plus a few quest fixes.

On console apparently it's like playing Leisure Suit Larry.

Slow texture loading is classic slow HDD loading, SSD is recommended for PC it should also be recommended for consoles.

The low FPS is either it's not been optimised enough, or they just aren't up to the job and the game shouldn't have been offered on XB1 and PS4.

PC version, apart from the magic spawning police and occasional warping AI that can be fixed I haven't seen or experienced anything bad.

Playing on a Ryzen 5 2600 with RTX 2060 Super & 16GB RAM. Texture quality High (with film gran and motion blur off) Ray tracing preset medium with all options on and balanced DLSS. Running between 48 in high density areas when looking at most on screen, going into the 50s and then to steady vsynced 60 fps in all other outdoor areas and interiors on my 1080p monitor. Using both AMD CPU core patch and memory patch. Running it on an 3500 MBs NVMe drive.

Spotted one other non-game breaking thing to be fixed. Get the sun behind you so you can see your shadow then sprint down stairs, the shadow just adopts a sliding pose all the way down.

Steam is predominantly PC (with some Mac and Linux) and the PC is the platform with the least problems. Why would they withdraw it? confused
For the same reason GoG withdrew it, Devotion has a depiction of Chinese leader Xi Jinping as Winnie the pooh and he doesn't like it. just like that other mad man in Turkey who hates the images of him as Gollum.

We were talking about Devotion which has been dropped by GoG (owned by CDPR) not Cyberpunk.

Their GOG storefront is in trouble now as well, after announcing it would sell a game and then backtracking a few hours later because it dared to insult the glorious and benevolent Chinese government. Sad because I've bought a lot of great stuff from there before.

Patch v1.05 - https://www.cyberpunk.net/en/news/37166/hotfix-1-0... for consoles and PC.

Of the two posted fixes on here they have implemented the SMT AMD CPU patch and removed the memory_pool_budgets.csv file as it does nothing.
