I’m hoping to move in the next year or so so I can get my stuff out of storage and set up in a nice warm basement, log cabin or extension.

Yeah VF1 was groundbreaking, it looks so dated now.

I’ve got a mint Daytona in my garage, plus quite a few other bits and bobs.

People often post up that a member has the "best garage" on PH due to it containing exotic supercars, I think you've been overlooked sir, that's a fantastic haul.

Haha if only I had all my coin-op stuff set up in there, but it’s a little too cold and I’d need two floors. laugh

These are old pictures, but all my stuff is in dry storage, not looking forward to firing it all back up after 10 years of no use though.

The Cerbera LM in the original Gran Turismo was a beast, hard to get but totally worth it

The Cerbera LM from GT1 was an amazing drive, especially around Deep Forest IIRC. The stock setup was all over the place but we found one online and it transformed it into an absolute joy to drive.
That was the one you had to win rather than buy? thumbup

The NSX from (I think) GT2 was awesome for taking the left at the end of the straight flat out at Grand valley then flicking it sideways all the way to the RH hairpin.

The Getaway series of games featured some really realistic renderings of cars inc TVR , BMWs and Vectras etc. For such an old title I think it was a great game.
You also can't forget the Rover 75, mmm.

Apologies if I’ve missed the post and you’ve done it before, but be really interested to read about your experiences in the industry if there is a post / blog about it.

Now you’ve mentioned Driver I’m going to have to go to my Mum’s house. Find the PlayStation, game and memory card and try and finish the last level. It’s hung over me for a long time. hehe

This gives me PTSD trying to get the car out of the garage right at the beginning of the game.

Driver was a bloody hard game! The president's run was ridiculous, although I somehow managed to complete it back in the day. Doubt I'd manage to get out of the garage now! Lol

I mentioned Driver on the first page, glad to see it getting some love on here. I only really liked the first one though where you just drive and don't get out of the car.

The one I remember was my Audi S5 from Forza Motorsport 2, but only because I spent hours tuning it for the Silverstone endurance race. I was no good back then, but I learned so much and actually made that thing handle quite well, making my way quite high (for me) up the leaderboard.

So many more cars that I enjoyed more or that were better, but that was the one that I worked hard to improve and so it has some good memories for me.

I also loved all the quirky stuff down Gran Turismo and GT2. The game was at its best at the start, working your way through the basic stuff and scraping enough credits to go buy something slightly better. I still remember tuning the Mitsubishi GTO MR to go over 400kph! Happy times

This racing modified Mitsubishi GTO MR in Gran Turismo. I spent ages playing with the gear ratios to get a top speed that was around 417-419 km/h.
I'm sure I have it on a memory card somewhere still.

Also, the Impreza in RAC Rally Championship on PC, although I used to enjoy playing with the Proton Wira as a bit more of a challenge.

Exactly the same as me! thumbup

I managed to finish it back in the day, but I tried it again a few months back and I genuinely couldn't get out of the garage right at the start of it! grumpy

On a more serious note than the Warthog...

TOCA for the PS1. I could have gone for the Audi as well (bless the 4WD in the rain) but preferred the Renault

Or the Peugeot 306 from V-Rally on the PS1 as well
