I don’t like spending Cr on cars that I hardly ever use, so this week I’ll probably be using MX-5 Mk1 or 911 RS. Maybe Integra.
I probably will come last.
Again.
As I work away in the week, I cannot put in the hours of practice some do and I like you am reluctant to spend credits on cars I will hardly ever use, so I reckon I will be challenging you for last place I probably will come last.
Again.

Golf is noticeably better in the corners but not Quite as fast on the straights!
Thanks for letting me know. I think in the next couple of days I’ll try the standard Delta Integrale, MX5, 911 RS, Integra and maybe the Corrado in ‘arcade’ (or whatever it’s called) mode and see which one I like best, before spending Cr on a car + tuning.
My heart is set on the 911 RS but I know it’s gonna be slow but I really don’t want a Golf or Celica.

If any guys (getting top times like 1:02 and less) are using tunes from the Storefront, why not let us know which ones your are using so we can compare how good we are compred to you.
I know even at my level (average) a good tune does make the world of difference when it comes to hotlapping.
Personally my time was set with the yellow HKS Fiesta made by SloPoke.

My 1:02:5xx in the MR-S was setup using the forza traders setup tool linked earlier in the thread.

Went and got a Celica. And I can't get close to my MR-S time....

It's a good 'un for this track, and although there is a little time to come, I've done about 130 laps (not exaggerating) trying to improve, and got nowhere. I'll have to change cars to go quicker.
Tried the standard Delta, MX5 Mk1, MX5 Mk2, Corrado, Acura Integra, 911RS, Corsa VXR, 944 turbo, Focus ST & M3.
Delta & Corrado are all both very good. Delta is ‘grippy’ and Corrado’s engine sounds great and feels punchy for only 185bhp, although you do feel the weight at the nose. Acura Integra is fun and out of the box is probably the quickest but at the end I bought the 911RS, tuned to about 240bhp (350PI), 1,000kg with stock tires.
Good fun to drive for such a slow car; did about 20laps with various tunings but could not beat 1.05.6. I think I’ll settle with that cos I don’t fancy spending any more Cr on other cars.

None of those got very close to my original Mk2 GTI time.
I think my original time will stand
