I know I need to spend my mileage point on tuning, but does the money have an actual ingame purpose or is that just my score?
You can use them to buy cars and extras in the mileage exchange.

The one make series is like dodgems.

I had an "S" rating until yesterday. One game of TT pinball in the final chicanes (into which I was first) on Alsace dropped that to a "B" as I was smacked up the back and three other cars concertina'd up in a mish mash of ingame physics that must have lasted at least three seconds. I think everyone came out with numerous 10 second penalties.

It seems rubbing, bumping and barging is the norm. and once you're back into B-class races it's a dogfight. I'm back to a "C". That will take a while to get back.

On the licence tests, I've started doing the intermediate ones. On the first row, I've got silvers and gold's so far, a few are 0.1 off the gold time and annoying hehe .

I'm guessing now that if I try for all gold's the prize car is better than having gold's and silvers like in previous games, and if I claim the car now from the bouncing gift icon at the end of the row I don't get another car if I go back and work on getting all gold's.

Is that right?
I think you get a gift car for silver and an additional one for gold (from memory)

I know I can spend mileage, I was asking the prize money.
At the moment it looks like you just use it to buy cars.

Bear in mind that in previous versions there were numerous cars at 20 million a piece.

So on the circuit experience for Autodrome Lago Maggiore I struggled with some sections and compared to other PH users was pretty shocking.

On my 3rd attempt at a full lap I got a 2:02.317 (gold is 2:05.600) and the next PH member is 2:04.148.

I currently feel like a driving god and await you all to destroy my time.

I think it's do-able based on a few laps earlier.

According to the GT Sport official page today's update will change BOP settings for certain cars.

I like the fact they'll continually monitor and balance these and also that they're transparent, unlike companies like EA.

You'll love the Tokyo daily.

If you brake, you get hit.

And the fastest times are set by people who have ridden around the walls in a way which hasn't gained a penalty.

Bloody autocorrect!
What about the Megane, they tear away on the straights as well.
Track dependent, obviously, but it remains very hard to beat.

nono Don't get me started on that race, my SR is E now and I only did it once.
They need to add more tracks and races ASAP.

Why it's always a one make race with dogturd TTs I do not know.

Tokyo is hard enough to get round in your own. I can only imagine how bad it must be racing other people rofl

Totally ridiculous.
Yup. I gave up.

The Audi race is slightly better. The Maggiore race is less frequent but better again.

The Audi race isn't too bad, they don't have the grip/pace to really hammer you off the track.

Feels like fake 4wd though. More like FWD.
I think there's a subtle way of getting the best from it. I'm doing my best to control understeer and wheelspin (wtf?), quicker people are throwing it about and getting drive where I can't.

Nations. Q3 1:44.5 Finished P3
Man. Q5 2:03.5 Finished P9

Had the wrong cars I think. Didn't really think about choices.

Got caught up in far too many incidents and made too many mistakes.

Had a really good race in the Manufacturer's cup racing an R8. Really good, clean racing. I made a couple of errors as the race neared to an end which was frustrating, but entirely my own fault! Finished 7th in the end.

Does anyone know how the points system works? I've got 73 points which seems a random number for coming 7th...
dont know because i got 153 for 11th in my race so seems unusual
It looks like the winners got 1400+

My results were worth 624 and 385 respectively.

I got 357 (i think) for my win??
I think it depends on who you are racing in terms of A/B/C etc and you get more points if you're racing the higher classifications. You'd think position and times would count for something, too.

Maybe, my driver ratings had dropped from DR:B SR:S to DR:C and SR:B in the races leading up to it so I may have had an easier grid.
I went in with A/A

Looking at today's rounds I am not confident. Crap at ovals, which I think favour the wheel in terms of scrubbing speed in corners, and have struggled on Interlagos. I think these could be results I drop!

Something needs to be done about the way you get penalised SR if you’re overtaking someone on a straight and they turn into you.

I just had this repeatedly on interlagos, every time I would go to pass this Russian chap he’d swing into me and I’d lose SR. When I finally did get past him he just divebombed me at the next turn. I totally rage quit and now I’ve been lumped back to C.

I might just jack this in. It’s no good for the blood pressure.
The oval is totally frustrating. My race was just determined 100% by traffic being lapped blocking and bumping the cars lapping them. They need to be ghosted. I was cruising around behind the two leaders as they bumped each other, waiting for the inevitable and for the race to develop. Then when cars being lapped got in the mix and took out half the field, literally, things got very messy. Happy to come away with pole and 4th but should have been battling for the lead. Happy because I struggle on ovals, unhappy because I know I had the pace and consistency to win.

ETA. 395 pts for 4th in A/A.

333 pts for 7th in A/B Qualified 2nd got punted into the undergrowth at the first 90 degree left. Rejoined 14th, got back up to 7th, within sight of 3rd, and ran out of laps. Gutted.
