Forza 4 - BTCC champ replica.
Discussion
I am thinking either the s4 or something really random like the honda civic that competed in the btcc in 1989 in class d, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1989_British_Touring_...
should be pretty nippy assuming I can get it up to the pi limit lol

Just reading through that wiki link Gog posted and spotted a Maserati Biturbo among the list of cars and drivers.........
Nice paint by the way

Right.
I'm fairly sure this has been done before, but I've wanted to give it a try for a while, and I did want to run my own championship as well, so I thought I would give this a bash.
Going to be a very championship sort of inspired by the BTCC, as I grew up on and bloody loved the early 90's stuff. It's what got me into Motorsport.
Rules wise, I'm thinking of running a qualifying, and then a race of an as yet undecided distance. Damage off, but tyres and fuel on, so when you stop for your mandatory pit stop, you actually change tyres.
Regulations, something like a PI limit of maybe 550 for rwd and 560 for fwd, with 545 for 4wd. No drivetrain or engine swaps, no aero and you must run oz superturismo rims as they look bangin'.
I'm no curry becclestone , I just want to run a good close champ, so any ideas/ input will be appreciated.
As it stands now:
AWD PI up to 580
FWD PI up to 580
RWD PI up to 555
No Adjustable aero.
Standard size drag tyres with Oz superturismo.
No engine/drivetrain swaps. I'd rather you kept stock aspiration too.
Anything else is pretty much fine.
I would prefer a race paint, BTCC replicas would be chuffing great but whatever you want really.
Not going to do points for fastest lap, as good as it would be it would be really difficult to do as someone could set a fast dirty lap because they are being drafted but then it wouldn't count and so on. You will still get a point for leading a full lap.
One pit stop at least Can make as many as you want but has to be before the last lap.
Damage is full but there is no aero to ruin your race when it falls off.
ABS will be allowed, but TCS & STM will be off
Races will be around 25/30 minutes, however many laps are needed for that.
I will make sure my Volvo is to spec after work tonight.I'm fairly sure this has been done before, but I've wanted to give it a try for a while, and I did want to run my own championship as well, so I thought I would give this a bash.

Sorry if the following has been covered, I've been away all weekend:
When are you planning on starting this?
Do you have a practise session planned at all?
Cheers
Chris
I'm going to stick with the RS500, in Andy Rouse's Kaliber livery.

I do have a few other paints that could be used in this as well.
Alex, how do you feel about some Australian Touring cars invading the grid?
