I played a lot of GoW5 on XB1X, I played the enhanced version this morning and it looks no different to my eyes.

No doubt playing side by side you'd see a difference, but I don't think 'old' enhanced games are going to look that much better.

Maybe Forza would be a better contrast between old and new games?
I'm starting to think I might not bother if mine ever turns up and buy one at a later date when the differences are more apparent.

When I went from 1080p to 4k was a bigger jump than from 1x to 1SX.

I probably need to get a truly next gen title like Valhalla, I've got the new CoD waiting for Friday's release to see what that looks like.

I was in costco yesterday and she wouldnt let me buy the 75inch 4k. Apparently it's too big. What she doesnt know is when Santa arrives with the xbox, the 4k 75inch tv will already be on the wall while she sleeps.

At first there wasn't that much of a difference between the 360 and the Xbox One.

I missed out on the series x this week but thinking about picking up a 2nd hand x box one x for £180.
I’ve bought a sim racing rig (with Xbox compatible Fanatec wheel, pedals etc...) and Assetto Corsa game. I’m off work this week so want to make the most of it...

Do you think it’s worth waiting for the series x to come available again?

What did we have as a launch title last time Ryse? Launch has never showcased a big jump, strange how short people's memories are.

Forza 5 and CoD Ghosts were amongst the launch titles on XB1, they were pretty good from my failing memory?

What size are you going from? Will you be able to get away with feigning ignorance?

Are there actually any next-gen games out at the moment to make a decent comparison between the One X and Series X? All of the games I seem to see at the moment are just last gen titles with a better frame-rate and loading times.

I know that the PS5 has Spiderman Miles Morales and Demon Souls (even though it's a remake).

This isn't me st stirring, just a genuine question.

You'll need something with ray-tracing to really notice any difference - enhanced Control would probably show the differences but as yet no release date.

There's never a major jump from the old console to the new one. Give it a year or 18 months then compare the different games like the new Forza Horizon vs. FH4 and you'll see a massive difference.

It looks like I'm going to need a 4k tv then from what everyone is saying? My current Samsung one is about 9 years old, but I think I'll wait until I move out next year before upgrading.

Miles Moralis is also on PS4 and I think Demon souls is a remake of a PS3 game.

Neither have next gen only titles, it's more of a update in speed, 4K if you don't already have 4K.

Where's everyone selling their One X? Seen above that Facebook marketplace is good but I don't use Facebook so that's out of the question. I'm leaning towards Ebay but not sure if I can really be bothered with the hassle.
Music Magpie have offered £74 for my XB One (not X) 500GB, which sounds reasonable. Not dealt with them though.

Is it pretty much Valhalla as the only good Series X game? I remember the Ps4 release I was choosing between Knack or Killzone (the latter being the right choice, the former being the wrong choice)

I would like one but I don't think there will be a quantum jump from a XB1X game leveraging the new hardware on an SX game for quite a while yet?

Yes but Miles Morales does in fact at least make use of next gen features such as 4k w/ Ray tracing and PS5's new Haptics on the Dualsense controller. Certainly enough to be be regarded as a next gen title in my opinion.

Hopefully when the new Forza comes out I have the funds to buy the new Xbox smile

I'd not rush to upgrade a 1X to a SX yet. The argument for One to SX is more compelling.

I've gone from the original Xbox one to XBSX and for me teh major upside is the loading times have been drastically cut. I'cw done a few tests, fast travel in Skyrim now takes seconds. Loading GTA5 take well uder a minute compared to decades before.

I've taken a look at a few of the enhanced gen gen games and they do look nice and run very smoothly. Can't wait to get a true ext game game.

Downnsides? The internal drive is noware near big enough, I'll be doing a lot of swapping about between internal and external drives. Also I'll need to download huge patches for the enh anced games, FH4 is 64GB...

How you all handling Storage ? My plan ...

Internal storage for native games

Fast 1Tb Samsung T7 external drive for larger Xbox Games

4Tb 2.5" Mechanical drive for 360 and smaller games where the above doesn't really matter
