Right then please give me some guidance. Going to but either an xbox or ps to play this game on.
Looking at the individual threads the ps version seems to have a lot more happy people than the xbox version, but can get the xbox with halo project cars and some other game for £309 or the ps4 with project cars for £349.
I dont mind paying the extra if i am getting a better experience as not a fan of halo.
I guess my question is have i read it right that the ps version seems the best console version?
Dont suppose anyone here has both or played on both to give a perspective ?
Any help appreciated and have a good day.

Where is that deal for the Xbox One? I've sold my 360 today and am selling off games etc to help finance an Xbone!
I still cant seem to correct any slide, As soon as i counter steer and catch it, No matter what i do i will always end up flying off the other side. Its like the steering is snapping back past centre and full lock the other side, I either go off straight away or end up in a frustrating tank slapper going full lock left and right before eventually spining, Ive done this even at 10mph just trying to get the car straight.

There's a patch on the way. See my link on the previous page.HewManHeMan said:
Was initially sceptical, but this is one of the most enjoyable games I've played in years! The attention to detail is astonishing. And it looks incredible.
Hats off to the developers. This is the game GT badly wants to be. And it's just brought my G25 out of retirement!
Get on the PC threads as we will set up some races soon and perhaps get some lap time comps going, also I posted the tweaker files for FFB which work wonders on my G25, just download them and pop them in your pcars folder in my documents and there is one in there for each car.Hats off to the developers. I've not had any issues with the FFB. I had to fiddle with the Logitec gaming profiler at first as the game wouldn't start with it running in the background (P-C would launch in a minimised window). The solution was to launch the Logitec profiler (in an open window) before launching P-C, if anyone's having similar issues.
Anyway, at the first the wheel was far too sensitive - but that was due to the rotation configured in the Logitec profiler being set to 200* (out of a possible 900*)
Setting that to something like 510* gave P-C a much wider range of movement and cured the hyper sensitive steering. It feels really good now.
On the subject of FFB, the weight of the wheel whilst cars are stationary is such a nice touch! Most games / sims ape the very slight movement of the chassis when the fronts turn (whilst stationary) but never really include the dead weight and feel of the car sitting on them. Let go of the wheel and it just sits there, dead, waiting for forward movement. Feels just like my old VX220, without power steering.
From there, the difference from slow speed feedback to high speed feedback is also really nicely represented. The V8 Atom gives loads of information at low speed, but once you're hitting treble figures there's nothing at all - you can saw at the wheel but there' just nothing there! Presumable as the Atom has little to no aero grip on the front. Other cars can become quite twitchy at higher speeds.
I also really enjoyed the Porsche 911's. The rebound on the back looked just like they do in real life.
I'm waffling a bit here, but there's so much for a motorsport geek to love - it's a great game!

They are like chalk and cheese.
Right now the PS4 version grips and drives lovely with no need for TCS or Stability control tyre heat up much quicker too and much more forgiving when stone cold, back to back the Xbox is twitchy, I've had to have Stability control on all the time and TCS on for wet races.
Visually the stuttering and framerate drops are not in the PS4 version either, also it just looks smoother/nicer, anyone that says there isn't noticeable visual differences between the two are either A: blind or B: on the payrole.
Xbox One desperately needs that incoming patch that I mentioned yesterday.
