Am I missing something with the Comet Retro? Its going to be a slower less driveable version of a car that is already nearly undriveable (unless you are in the top 1% of GTA drives...which I am not), and not that quick, but on the bright side its going to cost a lot....lot more!!!
It's not necessarily going to be slower or less driveable - the Elegy Retro is a lot easier to drive than the RH8, and going by lap times on Sunday night I'd say it's quicker on plenty of tracks.

Even if it's not quicker, the looks alone do it for me. I like the Tropos and Omnis for the same reason.

I'm tempted by a Nero, but haven't even got a Tempesta yet. Broughy will inform my decision on that.

Comet Retro is a definite though.
So it shall be done , the saviour of gta has spoken :

That was his best super geek box opening to date.

These loot box things do you pay a subscription and get a box of random crap each month?

I think if you have a Youtube channel you get sent them for free. What's bizarre is the number of friends I have on Facebook who seem to pay for them, or girlie versions anyway.

And if he's opening them live on his channel you can bet it's got better stuff in than an average one wink

I watched one and he had a t shirt and note pad, if he gets the better stuff what do normals get?

I don't know about the lootbox people but if it was the company I work for sending him stuff he'd need way more subscribers to merit special treatment laugh.

I quite like the Nero custom I made. Maybe do a supers playlist for the next race night? I'm guessing not this week but maybe new years day if there's enough people around.

Sorry I left abruptly last night - forgot we weren't in a party chat. Normally I leave GTA online so the game saves properly while I'm saying goodnight.

The car selling is lucrative if you just do top end ones solo, it seems. It'll be better still if the sale price goes up to $150k.

I'm a million up now from before I bought the office/warehouse. 79 collected, 40 sold. So I guess I'm just about in profit now. Its been giving me 1 of each range this morning, despite only selling high end stuff.

I've got a collection to get rid of later if anyone wants $50k

My office still doesn't have piles of cash in it, some people seem to think this is based on how much money you have, others on how much CEO work has earned you. A few people reckon that the office gets tidied when you spend a load of money, so not really sure how it works.

The stuff in your office is linked to crate sales. It would fill up with whatever was in the crates you were collecting and then cash would appear when you sold.

I guess cars are to big to get up the stairs.

What Zed said, which is what I said last night. It simply relates to crate sales; it doesn't go up with Headhunter or Sightseer. You can clean it up by moving offices, not sure if there's any other way.

ETA: if you'd bought an office sooner you'd have known this, Crafty. And saved $500k wink

Having used the date method to get an empty public lobby earlier, Tom (Wong) and I liberated a few cars, however we made the schoolboy error of not checking the lobby was still empty when we came to delivering them, by the time we left my garage there was one little st in a jet and a whole other bunch who all wanted to steal our cars.

Tom got killed and had his car swiped, before we could steal it back jet boy had missiled it.

Expensive mistakethat cost us 100k

Hence I looked in to it and found a number of different bits of info as posted.

I don't really follow the logic of cargo sales cause cash to appear in the office, but sales of cars don't.. but whatever! Like DJ said I suppose it looks better when tidy.

I didn't buy an office earlier because I didn't want to get lumbered with something I didn't want, quite happy to spend the extra $500k to wait and see what it was like. ]

I'm still not convinced its much more profitable than sightseer/headhunter, I bought it for the gameplay really... annoying as it is!

The whole date glitch thing is weird, it took my three goes to make it work this morning, the first two times the game crashed, 3rd time worked perfectly and I didn't have a single random join me. Other times people join almost straight away.

The crates are supposedly full of art, rare animal skins etc - I don't get the logic of those appearing in your office when you deliver them to, and sell them from, the warehouse but hey. The fact they get replaced with cash is, I'm sure, an attempt by Rockster to encourage you to do more crate stuff.

I think i'm probably a couple of decades too old for these loot box things.

If you want some nerd badge , a t shirt or action figurine why not just buy it rather than pay each month for a box that might contain something you want.

Because they're the generation who are Worth It. And they love getting presents, but they have no real world friends so getting random st through the post is pretty much the next best thing.

I'd rather post myself stuff , at least i know i want it.

I went to a gig on sat , friends band was supporting .

6.40 and there was a massive queue to get in , turns out the singer of the main act is a youtube blogger for counterstrike with something like 1.8 million subscribers he did a pretty good job pulling in a audience.
