Glad Maple valley is back, it may not be a "real" track but was one of the most enjoyable. On that note does anyone else find Silverstone really dull? I think it's the only track that's been in every FM game, I can see why it's there given its fame, but I just find it no fun to drive around.
I imagine Silverstone is amazing in real life, on forza games on the otherhand I'd side with you and would always fall asleep playing the track*- exaggeration

Reports of an (optional) 50GB day-one patch. Presumably this includes some tracks and cars. Full install will be 97gb on Xbox One, and that's before the 4K textures for Xbox One X…
50GB patch?!?!?We live in a very rural location and our broadband speed is 3mb/s
At 3mb/s it will take 278 hours to download
My thoughts...
Very good overall, i use a g920 with the 6 speed box and it feels much better than Forza 6. As per my comments on the new F1 game, the loss of traction has more feel to it so then your chances to recover are better.
I love the harder way to get credits, the mix of races in each stage of the career is good, some tuned, some stock. In fact it’s had me so absorbed I haven’t even got round to free runs on other tracks yet. I have just finished the endurance race at Spa in the stock corvette and it was brilliant, the AI seems to vary in behaviour dependant on the cars being used so in the Spa race they really pushed for keeping the line into corners but seemed to back off a bit easier when in a road car.
The weather is now a great factor, only had a short race with it but it doesn’t just start and stop, it rains a few times and in the Silverstone race I did you only had sections with puddles and some without leaving you to concentrate rather more.
As others have said, I think hot lapping is a big miss at the moment but clearly they have more to open in the game as some sections are still locked.
Overall IMO it’s much improved, looking forward to getting on a long Le Mans race with all the new changes........

So after allowing an hour to install I've now started the 32GB update. fking embarrassing that the industry has got to this stage. Dev's have nothing but contempt for the customer to allow such unfinished ste get through QC. I HAVE A 20 MEG LINE YOU ttS!
I have a 5 meg line..Another big plus to this game that I forgot to mention was the ability to change controller settings in race, no more going back out of races and through menus to change the wheel settings from road to race car if you forget!!!
Been busy all week but will put some hours in over the weekend if I can get the kids off minecraft and fifa.
Quite annoyed with FM7 the campaign is quite boring as are the endurance races, I am finding myself playing freeplay most of the time racing against cars in the same class with/without mods.
It's just really not what it used to be and find myself getting frustrated with glitches rashes and boredom so I don't end up playing for long....

After some serious tweaking of the controller dead zones etc i know have the game feeling nearly as good as forza 4 did. Have to say im enjoying the game a lot more now!
Just began the Modern Sports Coupe series, my tuned TTS is decimating the field, might pop the tune up online if anyone wants it.
