Add your own but here are a few ideas.

One make series for :-

Morgan Cup
Porsche Cup
BMW Cup
Escorts
Aussie V8's
McLaren F1's (when released, final skins being done)
Vertigo Cup
Saleen Cup
Corvette Cup

All of the above Cup's contains 15-20 individually skinned cars so we don't all have the same ones. Most available from the Speedwerx site.

Apart from these I thought the only other thing we could would be 2 shorter sprint races instead of one long race.

Any other thoughts?

We could do as a tester a simple Porsche Cup race somewhere while we all see what's what.

Read the read me for it. Just so you know.

Best to delete (move your current TVR folder) if you have one, install the cup, then add back any indivisual cars that are missing.

Probably a few fixes inlcuded and latest TVR model/physics too.

I think since there's a lot happening we should do a standard GTR one make race Monday and discuss then when everyone is online about what to do.

Bit too late to start this Monday with a single make cup series.

Might be good to add some of the better add-on circuits, like Imola (the Steve Life versions) but if you want to suggest a track test it online to make sure the starting and pits lights work, some don't.

Just thinking we could also run an Aussie V8 Supercar series since there are a few Aussie circuits out now. Probably be able to host it ourselves as I doubt there would be more than 8 entering. If there is more interest then we'll have to sort out hosting.

Adelaide
Melbourne
Hidden Valley
Oran Park
Philip Island
Queensland
Sandown
Wanneroo

(forget Bathurst, that is a poor conversion of a poor track. Track levels are wrong and it's easy to flip the car over just going through one corner)

What about using the Vertigo's for a single make race on Monday. Nice handling, should make for a good race.

Monza?

err ok then.. I hate monza!

But with the long straights it'll be great with the slower NGT Vertigo's. Think GPL in Coopers.

Sammie's setting it up for Monday.

PH (and any additional) skins won't work unless it's on the server.

I'm up for TVR cup and Donnington or donnington national on monday

has someone asked sammy to install them on the server for us?

I'll email him.

I'm going to suggest a 40minute race instead of 1hour. To test the water. It means if you want to do the whole race without a pitstop you'll have to manage your tyres if you run on mediums, or run hard tyres wihout loss of grip but be slower with less grip to begin with or run medium tyre and drive hard and fast and do a single pitstop to change.

Good idea?

Is the TVR folder in the c-gtr-gamedata-teams-ngt folder?

If so when you are on the car selection screen of GTR click both boxes to show all single car makes, then they'll appear.

Or just get GTRManager and let it do it for you

Am I the only one here who uses it?

Just did a handfull of laps using my Long Donginton TVR setup.

So far a 1m8.8s Motec map below. Compared with Mike's I'm a little down on top speed on the back straight, almost everywhere else pretty similar speeds and braking but I seem to have an edge into the Old Hairpin, less braking on my part and my slowest speed through is 151kph compared to Mike's 138kph.

But then I am a bit of a Demon into there, ask Markk

I have a 1kph higher average speed, but less time on full throttle and more average throttle. But only 0.1s difference in laptimes.

Anyone have any suggestions on a good wheel/controller?
.

MOMO Racing it's what I use and I'm not bad at it. Or any other good Force Feedback wheel, it takes the game to a different level.

Yep, free for all. Which is why I've asked for a 40min race to really make you think

Although I've not heard back from Sammie yet about the hosting.

Don't know about anyone else but I seem to be locking what appears to be my right rear going into Redgate (T1) a lot. If so this is amazingly realistic as I tended to do that when I took my own Cerbera on track (turning right and the right rear getting light/unloaded)

PS. I've only done 5 laps practice so far yesterday (medium tyres), will try later today and see what she can do.

PPS Car list so far.

Mjuk04 - Car No. 3
Dern - Car No. 14
Uncle Dave - Car No. 15
_dobbo_ - Car No. 17
Jimmy5 - Car No. 20
Woody - Car No. 22
D_Mike - Car No. 27
Fourwheeldrift - Car No. 28
IanP - Car No. 38

Any more?
