3 red lights on my 360 !

I was just reading the over-heating thread the other day, and thinking to myself 'I must be one of the lucky ones not to have had a problem with my 360'.
Then I turn it on today, crack on COD3 and after 30 seconds of intro vid- it stops. So I turn it off, and re-start and there are 3 red lights blinking at me, mocking me for my confidence in its reliability. Ah well, it was a release day 360, so I have 11 days of warranty left !

The light in the top right quadrant- if the console was lying down, was the only one unlit- according to the Xbox.com support site, this means the console has suffered a serious hardware failure. UPS already have it. The whole process has been simple so far.
Does anyone know if I will get a new 12 month warranty to cover the repair ?
