FM3 Hot lapping / PH Team.

Just wondered if anybody here hotlaps and would be interested in forming a team for Forzastats.com

The only thing you would need to do is give me permission to register your GT at Forzastats.

I'd register as PH or something similar. once your registered it would be up to you if you want to go and hotlap specifically or just set times during races and freeplay. You really don't have to do anything if you don't want, but being registered would still help us move up the boards.

What would you get out of it?

Not much at first, but if we an move up quite high in the ranks, which i think we can, it would make it easier for everybody involved to sell tunes, paints, vinyls etc. If you look at the amount of tunes EMW and other teams like that have sold you'll see what i mean.

I'm the same percentage wise usually but i've managed a few top 250's so far.

^^And incredibly frustrating sometimes. 3 times on Road America i was half a second up and binned it each time at the last corner

Got there in the end though, 161st place

I'm in the top 300 (something high like that) for Drag, I should be able to climb a few more places if I use a better car for some of the races.

Alot of my laps are usually in the top 1% too for most races, prefer the lower end, so A class and below, the R class cars are a bit too much of a handful for me to set really quick laps.

If we get a good few of us i might set up lobby's occasionally for us all to hotlap in together. We could all use the car thats setting the best times and just run a few laps of different circuits. Should make it more bearable than driving round on your own for hours.

Chuck- have you tried EMW tunes? I used them to set my 4 top 250's, only used them for C and D class though.

Everybody who's signed up prior to this post will be registered on the site by tomorrow morning. Use your GT as your username and PHR123 as your password if you want to log in. Don't worry about everybody knowing your password there's nothing in there for anybody to see.

If you want to check your progress on the site, don't log in, instead just type you GT in the "search gamertag" section just above the log in box.

Featherz, having a little prob with yours, will get it sorted soon as poss.

@ Chuck, yep just select the car you want the tune for and enter EMW in the manual search

@Sheps, long time no race, I'm sure you'll be setting some quick times still.

Kitch- I've not added you yet. There's a post on the first page saying everyone prior that post is registered everybody after that post i'll do tonight. It's more of a ballache than I anticipated. Good idea with the challenge thing, once I've got everybody registered I'll sort something out.

Sidoarb- Thanks for the offer. Do you want to build up a few leaderboard cars and put the tunes on your storefront or take requests off people?

Everybody else- Will get you's added before midnight tonight.

I'm going to setup a few sessions for hotlapping in (staggered starts, no collisions etc.), you should join in in a few, won't matter if your not as quick as some of the other guys it's not like racing for position.

I've raced against about 20 of your cars, never with you behind the wheel though

What car you using?

I'm going to get on at nine, find the A class LB car, get me an EMW tune and give it a go. Probably go for a bit of road america, Laguna seca and maybe a benchmark track at first.

Important announcement : In order to be added the team and appear in the tables you have to have at least 1 Top 250 time.

It doesn't have to be in circuit, it can be drag, drift or p2p.

With this in mind I'm going to sort out the first leaderboard challenge on a track that will hopefully be easy for everybody to achieve a top 250 on.

I'll get more info up on the track and prizes later tonight.
