Epson R300 Printer
Discussion
I have this printer and it is fantastic, picture quality is fantastic, it is easy to use and it is quick as well (even of high res mode) £100 is a good price as well as I paid £130 for mine from PC world.
I had a job getting mine though as according to PC World they are selling like hotcakes!!!!
The only downside is that it is quite bulky.

Thanks. A staples has just opened near me so I'll try that first. If its too dear then I'll try my original route (which Im not telling because there is not much stock left!)
Oh yes, and they price match places like Comet +10%.
And provide you with an au pair.
One of the above is not true...

No bu$$er gives away 10% anymore.
It's not 10% off - margins can't take it - but they will match other stores and also take off 10% of the difference. At least, they did when I found the Logitech keyboard and mouse I'd jut bought for £10 cheaper in Comet the next day - I showed them the receipt, they rang to check and refunded me £11. Can't argue with that.
how does that work then? If I buy the printer at a cheaper store I can then go into staples and get them to pay me the difference?
Im guessing I have to take the printer back to the other store and purchase again from Staples.
In which case whats the point in doing that? I still end up with the same print for the same price!
I think Im missing something here
(More than just my marbles that is).

I think I wrote it badly. I bought the keyboard in Staples for £60, then saw it in Comet later for £50. So I went back to Staples with the receipt and said 'Don't suppose you do price-matching?' And they did, quite happily. I got £11 refunded to my CC
right.. sounds good. Had a quick web trawl & found it for £111 (no LCD screen version). Then made the mistake & had look on the epson site.. and spotted A3 version 1290s. Oh dear can feel the credit card warming up... nice home printed TVR posters.. must be strong.. must be strong....

Novatech. But it was about the same price as your supplier I think.
I collected mine as I live locally to them. Dont know how much they charge for delivery. Its a big supplier though so should be good.
I noticed there is also a R200 version without the card reader (and possibly with out the USB extension).
Remember to buy a USB cable too. They are cheap from Novatech and light up in pretty colours! (not that I can see it behind the desk anyway!
