Took my son rock-pool-hunting last week for the first time. He couldn't understand why he couldn't keep his finds though, I did explain.



This is a flower, believe it or not.



And a seal which appeared behind me while I was waiting for a sunset. Sneaky bugger didn't hang around for any decent shots.

Yes. Great Adder shots Dogsey.
They are much lighter in colour than the ones I see up here.
Is that the norm with you ?

The five I saw yesterday were all a similar colour, but as that's the only five I've ever seen I wouldn't like to say how typical that is.
