I started mine on Friday after reading through this thread. The camera's been a bit neglected recently so hopefully this gives me the motivation I need to get using it again. I really need to get out of the flat with it though otherwise every day will just be something else taken close up at f1.8!
They'll be uploaded to my Flickr as close to daily as I can possibly manage. I'm quite excited about it though, got to love a good challenge.

Finished sorting the gearbox bits today, chose the best of the parts and built a main box. Then another 3 spare boxes inc 1 bd of a pinion shaft that needed to the casing to be attacked with a heat gun, to get it in.
1 more to do tomorrow, whilst the an engine is rebuilt and attatched to the gearbox.
Put it all back together and we are away.

One of the few joys of international travel is that you can have whatever you want at whatever time of day it is as your body clock is generally in sync with where you’ve come from.
