A website which I find useful is dpreview.com and also pixmania.com
The review for the D70 (a LARGE review at that!) is at this following address... They include Nikon D70 photograph samples at the end of the review...
www.dpreview.com/reviews/nikond70/
Try www.pixmania.com
>select the UK
>type in the search facility 'D70' and then you will see what options they give you for the Nikon D70.
Hope that helps

Would the 18-70 lese do for all round use, including le mans, goodwood FOS and various GT races. im not going to be able to afford new lenses for it for a while.
The 18-70 is a very good general purpose lens with just a little telephoto, but unless you're really close to the action it's not really the tool for getting shots of racing cars.
However, if budget is tight then the Nikkor 70-300mm 'G' lens at £99 is a good way to get that extra reach for very few beans.
Do consider this, for if you get just the body and telephoto now, the camera will be very limited for 'normal' photography. Then you'll wish you had the 18-70 and it's £200 on its own...

its here im now a member of the ph D70 owners club thanks for all your advice now all i need to do is learn how to use it
Nice one WVM! If you've has an SLR before it's straightforward; if not, you have some work to do Whatever, do try to get through the manual.
NB It's Clud, not Club. I think Pud206 had something to do with it...
