Don't worry Tim. MY Dad, got a camera the other day and it's so clever it even gets itself out of the case and takes it's own pictures. Then it downloads them to his PC and gives them all interesting names while uploading them via a 10 zillion gigabit ADSL line to a platinum coated webserver that gets a gazillion hits a second. So there

Oh and by the way, my Mum's Micra is faster than your Dad's TVR AND it's got blue LED washers. Nah!

Not heard of Rebel version of the EOS before, can you only get that in the southern states of America then .
I'm also assume, comparing it like for like, its smaller than a packet of fags .

Not quite Harry. Bit bigger than a pack of fags, and Northern American, not southern.

Thanks for that, had visions of the General Lee and sunburnt necks .

Rebel is not a name used this side of the divide, possibily a 10D see here totally different kind of camera though. Nice all the same but not for me, I wouldn't be able to get it in the boot (trunk) of the TVR .

I know what a boot is, but i didnt know they were that small on the Tivs. The best thing about it is that its a digital camera that feels like a film camera. With this one there is no delay when u take a picture so no more trying to judge where the shots gonna be. Just keep on clicking. And the zoom is amazing, ill try and snag some pics of stuff later.

I think "Rebel" is the name given to the 300D stateside - at least, when I was installing the drivers for my new 300D at the weekend it was saying 300D/Rebel in a few places.

My EOS300 (not "D") instruction book is titled
"Canon EOS300 / Rebel".

Different names for different markets I guess.
