A friend of mine has one of those. After he bought it, he used to send us pictures of the Moon. It is was a clear night, it would be Moon morning for the rest of us. Excellent quality. Some of his gibbous images, particularly of the line between light and dark, were quite remarkable, but there are only so many nice things you can say about pictures of the same subject.I was impressed with the camera quaity though. The s/h price makes it something ofa bargain.

It is an impressive zoom range, I must admit, the moon is the first thing I tried with it.. But I’m starting to get it out of my system The OH is sick of seeing photos of it now.. I was impressed with the camera quaity though. The s/h price makes it something ofa bargain.
I’m quite looking forward to the possibilities of the camera and photographing wildlife.
It is quite limited with its iso range though, anything above 125 gets grainy, but the sensor is smaller than most smart phone ones I think! The 4K quality is very impressive though, almost more so than the stills.
I headed to our local nature reserve to see what birds might be around. Near the entrance to the park, I saw this woman who was surrounded by pigeons, and who seemed to be loving and encouraging the attention with strategically placed pieces of bread in her arms. So, an opportunistic shot which captures a moment of (slightly eccentric) pleasure.
Hay Bluff to the left, Waun Fach in the middle and the Brecon Beacons to the right.
