How many shots did you bracket for this ? It almost looks under-done as opposed to over-done, which is what most folk do smile

Just a short drive along the autobahn from me, and yet I've never taken pics there in the last 5 years, something about living in a place seems to make it less interesting, unless your Mr C of course...

TBH I don't know if I should have classed it as an HDR. It's actually a photomerge of two variations of the same exposure, adjusted to expose the detail in the sky in one and the land in the other. As a newbie to landscapes I'm just having a try to see what works, or rather what doesn't. Next attempt I'll try the std 3 shot -1, 0 and +1 EV I think and combine those as I don't think this one looks right. By all means comment, good and bad, I'm just trying to learn smile

I think the idea was right but the sky still looks blown to me and the ground looks a wee bit oversaturated smile

This would be a classic for a grad filter, may be worth looking into if you're getting into landscapes.

Thanks. Just starting looking into filter options. There was a time when I figured that if I could learn to photograph birds, everything else would be easy nono

^ amazing as always.

Picked up the new member of the family yesterday. She was frightened by my camera and the noises it makes but I've soon got her used to it hehe. She has many more years of that to come!

+1. Lovely cat portrait with a soft BG which suits the shot.
