Just a short drive along the autobahn from me, and yet I've never taken pics there in the last 5 years, something about living in a place seems to make it less interesting, unless your Mr C of course...DibblyDobbler said:

How many shots did you bracket for this ? It almost looks under-done as opposed to over-done, which is what most folk do 2slo said:

TBH I don't know if I should have classed it as an HDR. It's actually a photomerge of two variations of the same exposure, adjusted to expose the detail in the sky in one and the land in the other. As a newbie to landscapes I'm just having a try to see what works, or rather what doesn't. Next attempt I'll try the std 3 shot -1, 0 and +1 EV I think and combine those as I don't think this one looks right. By all means comment, good and bad, I'm just trying to learn This would be a classic for a grad filter, may be worth looking into if you're getting into landscapes.

Thanks. Just starting looking into filter options. There was a time when I figured that if I could learn to photograph birds, everything else would be easy This would be a classic for a grad filter, may be worth looking into if you're getting into landscapes.
