That's quite a scene! Does it need a little CW rotation? Unusual/ intriguing sense of scale & space- were you up another building or in a plane? IMG_0643 by chrisj_abz, on Flickr
Burj Khalifa in Dubai, previous shot was taken about 4pm so starting to get quite hazy, and just on the wee S95.

On a trip to York at the moment, very photogenic place
Cliffords Tower, York by Dibbly Dobbler, on Flickr
This photo reminded me of my stag party during which, wearing a pink morph-suit, I was challenged to run up Clifford's Tower bank while my cohorts chased me with sticks. Blind due to the mask, I ran as fast as my skinny pink legs could pump, slipping all over the place. Cliffords Tower, York by Dibbly Dobbler, on Flickr
Only to reach the top to find them all standing at the bottom laughing at me.
Love York!

I have the option of a low cost track day on Monday but need a road registered car - don't think my poor old daily driver will like the abuse. Might be a good chance to 'test drive' the 962 or maybe a Carrera GT?
Right, back to topic ....

I'm back after my router decided it didn't want to route any more.
For the last few days, we have had astonishing light, colour & weather here. Worth clicking on the below for full size methinks.
I see this view every day, but it's the best it has ever looked, since I moved here:

Got two limited edition vinyls today. They're hand painted, signed and numbered by the DJ/music producer Fake Blood.
I've got numbers 11/100 and 46/100.

There's even a video of them getting painted here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K0CdE5Z9o0I&fea...

That's a fine sharp image. When I first saw it I thought Canon 17-40mm but I see it's the Canon tilt shift 24mm. Looks good.Knowledge Transfer Centre by PGDesigns.co.uk, on Flickr

Yes that lamp post is bugging me too - I drew the line at editing that one out though, several other niggles have already gone..
I kind of don't get these tilt-shift lenses (other than doing the toytown thing) - can anybody explain how the above image differs to something taken with an ordinary wide angle ? TIA DibblyDobbler said:
