I had a lend of a friends 10-22mm canon lens to take some marketing shots for a new development in London and having owned a sigma 10-20mm previously, I was pretty impressed. I found the IQ of the Canon is far superior in the short time I have used it.

Can I ask, whats the technique called that you've used to add those streaks of light across the photo. Is this simple a editing technique? If so whats is called. I have seen it used many times but I have no idea how its created.
