Not to the quality of most of the shots on here, but I recently got round to processing some photos from a trip to India from 14 years ago.

These birds all appeared close to the hotel we stayed at in 2 days whilst in Kerala and were shot with a Minolta Dynax 7D and fairly budget 75-300mm zoom.

Fantastic!. Waders are my favourite birds. The bottom picture is actually a common Redshank, not a spotted, The
Spotted Redshank has a slightly longer beak which only has red on the lower mandible and a more prominent
white eye strip. Still lovely though.

Thanks very much! I did ponder over the Redshank for some time, obviously plumped for the wrong one smile

Thanks. I took this a couple of years ago, on holiday in Namibia. I got some updated Photoshop & Lightroom subs at Christmas and dusted off some old RAW files, including this one.

I'm often asked why I spend so many hours in a cold, wet, drafty hide in the middle of nowhere..........this is why!
