Random portraits thread

and for Andy here is the set up:
Due to the small nature of the room and if I bounced off the ceiling I'd get red wash what I did after this shot was to rotate the flash until I was satisfied. Eventually the best position was found with the flash to be pointing at the wall oposite from the bath and flooding back into the room.
Need to touch up the final images to filter out the reflection from my bloody IR trigger

Just stumbled across this thread... good timing as just sorting out my travel portraits to see if I have enough for a complete series. Feedback Welcome!
I love both portraits Pernod, probably the first one even more so! I like the way the guy looks at his dog and the dog is so cute! Both pics great in B&W and they're very 'crisp & clean'!

noticed last night you like to use natural light which is something I dont get to do too much. Like the look, keep it up!
Thanks Mike! If there is natural light available I try to make the most of it, but also I have only been owning a proper flash for a couple of weeks, so haven't got much practice using it. The other reason I didn't use a flash today was, because my batteries have ran out, so I definitely need to buy some rechargeable ones...
