About time this thread was dragged back up.
Saw my first Muntjac today, needless to say I didn't have my big lens on me and I was in the car on a main road so couldn't stop for long either, thank god for the snow or I'd never have even noticed it!

Overnight trip to the Forest of Dean with my girlfriend was fairly successful in terms of wildlife though the photo quality was merely average.
This chap was a slightly unexpected find but pretty happy to pose:

And this family were a very lucky spot but the dreadful light and annoying vegetation (who put it there anyway?) made them practically impossible to get any decent pics of.

Mum a minute or two before she mock charged us (made the heart race a bit!). We'd stayed in one place but she kept moving towards us, and foolishly I choose completely the wrong time to move position and it spooked her (scared the living daylights out of my girlfriend )

The only view we were really got of her:

Great set, particularly well done in getting so close to the lizard, damn things never stay still when I see them. Looks like you got a good encounter with the boar too. This chap was a slightly unexpected find but pretty happy to pose:

HAd a day out at Cotswold Farm Park on Friday, lovely place to visit with kids. Most of my photos were just typical family day out stuff but I did grab this one that I liked.
