Thanks for the feedback, it's good to get somebody's thoughts about what is wrong with a picture so it can be improved upon for the future. I find friends (and obviously family) on the whole seem scared to criticise, constructively or otherwise.2nd reminds me of 80s style, the sun burst is a nice approach but too much

I don't know anything about rugby but I like the portrait of the 'top bloke'. I had to leave early, but I do know that he came out after getting changed from the game and spent a long time standing and chatting to all the fans who'd waited to see him. That's what I like about rugby players - very, very few egos on display. I spent an hour or so last Tuesday chatting to a current England and Lions international about all sorts of things. A really nice guy and very modest.
