Just practising product photography with invisible light sources. Would have worked better if half of it hadn't been consumed first...

We had friends staying there last week, and TBH the Inn is a really nice place to stay at a fraction of the cost (you can still eat in the hotel bar if you want). So... if you want the full monty, go for the hotel - if you want to save a few quid, stay in the Inn. May is a really good time. Quite quiet, long days and no midges. As for the weather... it's fab today. Leave now, you'll catch the sunset
Thanks for the tip. Mrs DD will accept nothing less than the best so I suspect it will be the Hotel Best let you take care of tonight's sunset, I'd only make an arse of it even if I was there dibbly dobbler said:

Thrilled to be able to finally get out of the house after surgery (no where near Chris's complexity of procedure however!) and I haven't shot a landscape in ages! I intended to try a pano but I have a terrible tripod and it was just far too difficult Awful weather for much of today but the sunset was really good. I noticed late but hopefully not too late.
WOW fantastic, was out and about trying to get some similar shots myself recently but that one is just superb!!PGD5 said:
Another from the TT set, just been told this had been 'Explored' no304 - no match for your excellent result Rob but I'm pleased non the less
I'm not sure if that was aimed at me or Flickr Explore veteran Rob D but congrats! As I said on Flickr, your TT set is stunning. So clean and crisp. All this talk of Scotland makes me want to book a train up there! That hotel looks superb Steve.
Pleased to report Capture One Pro now supports the 5D MK3, glad to have it back.
