Thank you guys .
I turned on burst mode, now struggling to turn it off, every time I touch the button it’s taking a dozen shots , quite funny really.
The best advice I can give at this stage is to get the manual out and read it from cover to cover (except the foreign bits). You won't need to remember all of it, but you do need to find the bits important to you and take them on board. That will tell you what all the buttons do - then you need only worry about the photography. To use a car analogy, first you need to learn the controls, then you can learn how to drive it.I turned on burst mode, now struggling to turn it off, every time I touch the button it’s taking a dozen shots , quite funny really.

Now looking at binoculars, Nikon Monarch 5’s or 7 ?
Knowing neither, I would say the 7, because it will be bigger and more expensive Simpo Two said:

After seeing photos like that, I do question why I continue to invest in a mirrorless system
Mirrorless is great, and perfect for Safari, I took these and many, many. more (low res uploads) on a mix of FujiFilm X-T2 + 100-400mm + 1.4TC and a Fujifilm X-E3 + 56mm F1.2 - I moved a few years back from a 1DX setup with L-series lenses to mirrorless and love itGassing Station | Photography & Video | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
