I've just got a few rolls of film back from being developed, and was pretty chuffed with some of my shots, especially some that I took on an early morning walk around Tower Bridge.
I'm probabably a bit biased though, so I'd appreciate any comments on the following two pics. I've done nothing with them apart from resize them in Photoshop.

Setup was Canon EOS 30, Canon 28-135 IS lens, carbon fibre (just to keep it car related
) tripod and almost certainly Fuju Velvia slide film.
I can't remember what shutter/apperture settings I used (how do other people remember this - do you note them down when you take each shot?), but as I only took one picture of each shot in this case, I most likely used the camera's meter to calculate the exposure.
Usually I bracket like mad, but for some reason didn't. Probably still half asleep...
I also don't normally wander around London at that time, but my girlfriend, who lives near Tower Bridge, had got up at 5am to catch a flight somewhere, and I decided to take advantage of getting up at that ungodly hour to take some photos. Fortunately I was rewarded by the most amazing sun rise, and happily snapped away for an hour or so!
I was well chuffed to have got 3 or 4 photos that I was happy with - normally my hit rate is an average of 1 per film!

I'll do my best! Mel doesn't seem too keen on me lugging tripod, camera and selection of lenses all the way up there, but I don't go anywhere without my camera now!
Got a polarising filter for my birthday too, so looking forward to trying that out!
