Anyone on here trying to photograph the northern lights? I managed to get a photo on Sunday night through pure chance. Was only out shooting start photos when I got lucky. Tonight and tomorrow have very high aurora reading for anyone in north England who manage to get a spot with now cloud.

I have a couple of apps on my phone for tracking it. Went out for an hour last night but didn't see anything. Doesn't help that Baildon moor, near where I live and where I went last night, has Ilkley moor in the way of the horizon to the north. Only time I've seen the lights was in Iceland back in March.

Was to cloudy around cumbria for anything to be seen last night. Tonight was a lot clearer. Spent two hours up a fell in scotland but no lights to be photographed unfortunately.
