That is the definition of quality over quantity. Absolutely superb pics, you can almost see right up schuey's nose!

It's just a Canon 300D with a 75-300 IS USM. The lens is a bit too slow in AF mode for F1 so you have to focus manually. On the plus size it's quite a cheap lens. Most of the action shots are 1/80 sec.
Taking photos in Monaco is much easier than other circuits as you're so much closer to the cars. You also see a lot more of the drivers and teams. I think Kimi Raikkonen was the only driver I didn't see wandering around this year.
Cracking shots from what I think we might refer to as 'budget' kit these days and doubly impressive panning at 1/80th.
An that overhead angle offers a unique view of just how bizarre many of the aerodynamic features are, especially when you look at the ducting and bargeboards.
I suppose the designers have to come up with something that looks like it is worth the cost of the wind tunnels!
Oh and no, I don't think MS looks old - mere stripling in my view.
