Not a particularly good sunset pic....

Blimey... don't you guys/girls do any work!
No filters... have about 30 similar - straight from the camera. Actually it got even more colourful (tonight I will be mostly purple) ..but was more than a tad too dark for the chip.
edited to add girls!

Not when there are nice sunsets to look at!
Hang on steve... I thought you were a composer/musician?
That's what my clients say
Mrs Fish... great pics... LOVE number 1... crop top and bottom and it's a magazine shot (if it's the right res!)

Wow guys, those pics are fantastic. Just a question though, what filter/lens do you use to capture a great sunset? Am off to Rarotonga (Cook Islands) next Wednesday for two weeks in sunset heaven, so I will post some pics when I get back. The only lens I have is a Polarizer, 2x telephoto and a wide angle shot, rest is on the camera to play with I guess.
I only ever use a skylight filter - lens is usually the 'jobbing' 28 - 200 or the 20 mm wide angle (but as it's a DSLR these are effectively 42 - 300 and 30mm).
All the pics (more sunsets) on my 'latest' page were taken with either of those www.stevecarter.com/latest/latest.htm
Have fun in the Cook Islands (not that I'm jealous or anything!)
Steve
