Yaw & Pitch = tilting the sensor left / right, up / down
X & Y = moving the sensor left / right, up /down
Roll = rotating sensor
= 5 axis
Should sell well to 'Help the Aged' (if they can lift it)X & Y = moving the sensor left / right, up /down
Roll = rotating sensor
= 5 axis
Anyway, back on topic, it looks like to be a great camera for the sports 'tog, hopefully some of the tech will filter down into the lower tiers... (and no doubt Canikon will look to copy at some point to catch up)
An R version with more Megapixels will no doubt be released at some point, with a lower FPS for people who need MP and not FPS ...

For some sports more fps is better. You cant predict whats going to happen.
This has a 240 frame buffer.
It also has dram on the sensor itself so there is very fast caching of the image, so no viewfinder blackout at all.
Its a real step forward...
yeh, 20 fps is Overkill for motorsports (unless you are capturing an accident or something), but for "human" sports.. tennis, football, rugby etc etc... I can imagine its useful! I'll be interested to try No blackout viewfinder when panning cars! For some sports more fps is better. You cant predict whats going to happen.
