Hi all
I am off to the States in a few weeks and have been saving my pennies to replace my current digital with an SLR. I've read a lot of previous posts on what to buy and the importance of a decent selection of lenses etc and yet I'm still fairly confused.

More or less decided on a Canon 20D on which I reckon I can save around £400, my main subjects will be cars both static and racing, Tennis and Horses (active and Static), to save my brain what lenses would anyone suggest? Also as this model is the same (I think) here as the US will there be any hassles with warranty as would happen with the Rebel?

Many thanks
Nick

Given that this is the case (thanks) how reliable are current digital SLR's? I have a twenty year old Canon A1 that has never missed a beat from new!

How many people on here have made warranty claims?

Nick

Gulp!
Going staright in with the 70-200 2.8 is really serious, I am right in thinking that it is circa £1400?
