Hi
That is really nice and good value too. Can you post the contact details of both shot blaster and powder coater please. I'm not far from you (Loughborough) and am planning to do body off in the Autumn. Did they pick your chassis up or did you use a trailer.
Thanks and Good Luck.

I can reccomentd a good blaster in Derby if it not too far for you, try ringing a company called Metal Finishers and ask for "Tinny" he only does blasting not painting so the quality is very high, good luck........Tony..That is really nice and good value too. Got the wishbones fitted yesterday - with all new polybushes.
What a pig they were to fit, turns out our friends in Devon should have sent some PTFE grease to fit them with, no wonder it was so sodding difficult!
So now they need to come off again and I need to get the grease.
Look on the brightside Chris, at least you'll be fully conversant having done it TWICE before when you give me a lift doing mine. What a pig they were to fit, turns out our friends in Devon should have sent some PTFE grease to fit them with, no wonder it was so sodding difficult!

Sorry forgot to say it looks great Chris , well worth the effort your putting in.

Have you considered hanging it on the wall in the living room, as a work of art?
You are not going to be popular with Mrs BC! Chris might just go for that and they already have a V8S body hanging from the garage.Erm erm.
I have fitted the wishbones to the chassis.
Then I discovered I'd chucked away a couple of shims for the front suspension, so I made a couple of new ones today.
I may get a bit further tomorrow, it may even end up with the front wheels on.
I need to get the bushes fitted to the rear trailing arms, so no rear wheels can be fitted yet.

Chris
There are two rubber mounts on top of the diff carrier to mount it to the chassis - I discovered last night one of mine is broken, the steel baseplate is cracked right through.
I'll post a pic of it, it's very poor bit of design & worth checking if you have the opportunity.
I've had to order new ones from TVRcarparts - over £70 with VAT & delivery
