Sorry to hear you can't make it Longers, but thankyou for the generous prize voucher.

The list of desirable raffle prizes is growing, but it would be good if everyone could contribute something, no matter how big or small for the benefit of our two worthy causes this year.

RayTVR's wife Alison has passed the halfway stage of her trek from John O'Groats to Land's End, having already walked over 550 miles since starting out on 1st June, an amazing effort by a very brave and determined lady. bow
You can follow her amazing exploits by clicking on this link:
https://alisonsjogleadventures.wordpress.com

We have decided to donate all monies raised to her chosen charities, the Alzheimers Society and Daisy Chain, who support autistic children and their families.

Just bring along on the day whatever you think is a suitable prize for our raffle table.
All donations will be gratefully received.

Looking forward to seeing you all on Sunday. smile

That's brilliant Ray, thanks a lot.
scratchchin I shall be buying quite a few raffle tickets myself and keeping my fingers crossed, because Austin seems to be hogging my old axle stands for himself! wink

There will be some great prizes to be won.

Tel, welcome aboard, looking forward to seeing you at the show. Will Andy be coming along to demonstrate his Titanic pose for us as you make your entrance? biggrin

Looking like Im not going to be able to make it after all. Changed the servo and master cylinder to the later fiesta version having sourced 2nd hand a few
years ago they had sat in my garage since. Worried about how the cylinder would be internally I sourced another but it is the ABS version and has 2 m10 and 2 m12 ports while I have m10 brake lines all round. The way I see it my options are:-

Put on the fiesta cylinder that has sat in the garage for 4 years without fluid in it and pray the seals hold.

Fit the ABS one Ive got which is the 22.2mm bore and try to source m12 to m10 adapters.

Try to source another cylinder with the right size ports today.

Change the brake lines to m12.

What do you guys reckon is the best option?

Wouldn't take long to "open it up" see if it's still oily and wet inside or dried out and rusty?

Adaptors exist Plan A easiest option, but how readily available on a Saturday morning?

Good luck!

Sounds like plan B if you have a flaring tool and can find a couple of M12 x 3/16 nuts

Thanks Philpot
Im going to try the old one tonight and see how it feels, and stamp on the pedal a lot to test. 24 hrs for a replacement and no-one can supply adapters today plus Im working. Fingers crossed.

I am not coming this year guys, (for those that know my car, it will at least make it easier to separate the V6's and V8's!) but it looks like a good turnout and a few cars that are new to me.
Hope the weather holds, enjoy yourselves and we will see what can be arranged north of Watford next year!!
