I've looked everywhere and can't find a pic of the new speedy cables speedo I had - but it looked identical to the original except it had a digital odometer and did have a tripmeter accessed using an external button which I mounted in the steering column.
They need the old speedo (which they return) to use the speedo needle so it matched - and they also match the mileage in the new speedo to your old reading.
I think it cost somewhere in the region of £100 to £150 - although 4 or 5 of us had them done at the same time so an individual order may cost a little more.
The back graphic on the speedo was perfect in every way even down to the TVR logo.
Well worth the money IMHO.

*****UPDATE*****
Speedy cables have got back to me, very pleased....they said a ball park figure for fixing would be £85.00 Plus postage and packing when returning it to me. Very pleased with price, so it is just a small matter of taking it out of the dash now...

It's not too bad a job, drop the steering column so there is space to get your hand in, then a ratchet spanner is of great help to undo the nuts. Should be two on the metal u shaped clamp. Who's this undone it will push out to the front and the clamp will come out the back. Good luck, lots of cursing required if you don't have small dainty hands
