Yes Graham. I quite like to follow the old familiar Peak District byways.
Otherwise I get lost! wink

.
It is a cracking good route and well worth it, some really good driving in that area.
Must remember about the turn off right to the minor road after the blind brow...think I scared Lawrie and smoked Greyhulk last time!!
Glen, of course, has ensured the pubs are excellent and we can walk back to site afterwards.

Wow - hit rush hour for getting on the list.

Glen's selling skills must be amazing as Nov has decided we should join you (she's never camped eek )

So this weekend I shall mostly be tent shopping!

But the route is not compulsory if you want to do your own thing.
I did my own thing last year - but that was an accident!
Will try to keep on track this year.
I think Han's map is still in the satnav.

Due to getting the dates of the Goodwood FoS wrong ( it is on the following week end) it now transpires that I could be available for Barn Farm biggrin

I'll be there Friday to Sunday camping and eating

looks like the S is going to get some mileage in the 2 weeks

As for the gpx. file, I haven't a clue about that kinda stuff, but perhaps somebody kind like Han could oblige. Otherwise, just follow Percy and me. driving

Sat nav!!!! I will make sure the bloke in front knows what he is doing....!!

Dont forget Glen, make sure no new campers are put on the outside of our ring, wouldnt be fair until we know what sort of mood the spirits are in that night.

On the contrary Richard, I alway place the new campers on the outside as our first line of defence against the wild boar. The Spirits and naughty sprites of the heathland will always seek out and find nice fresh humans even if we place them in the centre of our ring.

What post-solstice offerings are you bringing this year for the Great Mother of the Tree?
