Wiper assembly removal
Discussion
Thanks Glen. I have discovered that the tube, in which the wiper spindle turns, has been replaced at some time. But it wasnt replaced with one long tube but with two shorter one end on end! So they misalign. Re engineering needed if the spindle is good enough to salvage, but I suspect the circlip isnt going to hold.
I dont know if it has occured to you, but crank arm systems usually have a 'datum' rod between the two spindle housings to ensure they stay the same distance apart and true to each other. TVR didnt include one. So the spindle housings rely entirely on the grp. Not a good idea at all!!
