S reg, green, owned about 3 years no issues so far. Brother has driven it, he says, esp without Dad, it goes well, but then he has a 1.4 Astra! He's just got the Scimitar, but I think he'd like to get my S!

Is there any other way?

My dad can recommend a good milliner when you are ready for your Panama.

When you're driving it, wear a flat cap at all times.

just realised the BHP on the Rover will be more than the TVR.

So will the insurance won't it?
I think the 600Ti is a group 20.

See if you can get one of those old AA badges and a Caravan Club badge for the front grill as well!

Actually, all these aditions might even lower the insurance!

its group 17 - insurance isnt cheap - almost £300 TPFT but then thats for 10k miles p/a

IIRC those AA & caravan club badges are now worth a fortune

True.
They are probably also very illegal (if new) now since they would shred pedestrians even more than headlight wipers!

In the snow last night we wondered if anyone would be going to the meet, turned in to the car park to find three S series.
I keep on meaning to try and get to a Hants meet as a Berks interloper, but haven't managed it yet.

I should have the S back in time for the next one, so maybe I'll actually manage it.

I've also promised to pick up my wife's little cousin, who lives in Four Marks, and bring him along to one, as he's recently got into sports cars in a big way, particularly TVRs!
