V8S Intake Vents

someone will put air intakes in through the wing next.......
Every time I look at those pipes I finish up wondering why TVR turned them IN rather than OUT. The earlier cars like Grantura, Vixen etc have vents in the wings (admittedly to let heat out of the engine bay rather than cold into the cabin).I could do with getting air into the dash top vents for demisting when it is too cold or wet for the hood to be down (in her opinion I hasten to add!). Even having spent time improving the efficiency of the heater it is still quite poor. However I have seen a heater fan/box unit in Car Builder Solutions catalogue which I must research further!

(The not finding what I'm looking for, not ste middle of the road droans)
I thought that Gary Powers was useless in U2. He got more than he was looking for though.(The not finding what I'm looking for, not ste middle of the road droans)
I wonder how many will have got the Gary Power reference

At least he was looking for the people who wanted to look, as opposed to looking on behalf of the people who wanted to look, but were too afraid to look themselves.

Top Tips Time again.
Today, I removed the offside anaconda from Percy's engine bay. It kept coming adrift at the front and wasn't doing anything to help ventilation, as well as chafing against wiring & bits & pieces under the bonnet. So off it came.
I had saved some Doewe Egberts coffee lid seals to use as blanks, but it didn't stick very well to the curvature of the inner wing aperture and kept unsticking, so I ended up using the plastic lid from a tub of Aldi's Quixo gravy granules! It conforms well to the curved surface and is a perfect diameter:
I would imagine that a similar Bisto lid would be just as effective ( provided it is the same type of male lid ) and those are available in a range of colours if you look out for their sauce granule tubs.
