So let's hope this doesn't turn into a TG Botswana special and nobody has to finish the trip in the beetle ;-)
Have you been reading my notes Greg? I was going to mention that in my after dinner speech on Thursday, or was it Friday...? SO much material, such little time to get it all in hehe

Note to all - fuel shortages in France so perhaps fill up in the UK before hand.

We'll not be in France long enough to worry about running out of fuel. The supplies behind the bar in Calais are more of a concern...!

First 6 to the bar get big glasses, next 14 get small glasses, the rest get little plastic containers.

Oh no what have I done; I suppose I can take some consolation in getting a tiny TVR dig in before I get rightfully abused smile

go wrong

Barry, based on events of the last couple of days, I'd say...

Cars don't work, satnav files take us down a dirt track, France runs out of fuel, even worse France runs out of beer or even even worse...

...someone has to drive the Beetle yikes

Ha ha! There's every chance that Terry might overshoot a destination, but I think Botswana is stretching it a bit far, even by his standards.
Don't rule it out Glen, my navigator is very blonde this year and related to me..!!! laugh

Beware updating TomToms. I updated mine (bought a new maps package last year) and the European map zones have changed so that Germany is on a different map to UK. I am restoring the unit to last year's maps so I can travel through Germany. I only ever use this unit in the TVR so did not realise until now.The maps are split because they are now too large to fit in the older units.

Is this in preparation for Brexit, or perhaps Germexit?

Unless she sits in the right hand seat with the pedals and sterling wheel, she'll never be "fully" in control
