Well quite a few of us planning to turn up... us Essex lot love an excuse for a convoy... even if it's a mini one!

It's looking good peeps.

Oatz has replied, and is coming - nice one m8.

Hinted at PeterM and emailed DaveP, but no replies as yet (sorry for guilt trip mode)

After valid points made, perhaps I should stick a thread in events to drum up some more trade......

Have e-mailed drum4it2 but I know he's busy at work lately so asked him to phone.

S3kieran - yes, I think this should be on Gen Gassing really - how do you transfer it?

Ask a moderator nicely...!

Dodger - fancy a convoy effort? I'm arranging to meet Mid-Essex convoy regulars Griffy and Big T as their "locals"... could be the first convoy I've not led!

Dunno mate - I stuck a message in Events, thinking that was the logical place, but even followed by (pinched from) Podie's :tumbleweed: message, nothing.

Perhaps it should go in general as everyone seems to visit.

The thread is TVRcc London/Essex meet - can anyone transfer it???

Hi Guys and girls,

How big is the car park at the Merry Fiddlers?

Are there any speed humps there?

Can the Pub cater for a large influx of peeps.....say another 25 cars?

If the answer is yes to all these....I'll do a Mid Essex amil out and see what happens!!!!!......

...//P//
Edited to add f you want the post moved....ask Petrol Ted or JSG nicely!!!!

YP - lots of room - gravel (fairly flat) car park should take 30 to 40 cars, + parking in street around front of pub + plus extra car park, although that is grass - maybe dodgy for TVRs, but yes there should be enough room - if your email is successful, I'll contact the RO/pub to forwarn!

For those that want to eat, there are plenty of tables in and outside.

No speed humps, however, road from Epping High Street to Fiddlers is very badly patched etc, so you definitely will want to keep under the 30mph speed limit! (it's not exhaust ripping, but it's bumpy)

Go for it Yellowperil - the more the merrier

A few of us (Mid-Essex lunatics) are going to meet up at Jnct26 on the M25 for the drive up to the Fiddlers Hamlet. We'll be there at 7pm and will leave at 7.30. When you come off the M25 turn right underneath it and you'll see the Marriott hotel. You'll see/hear us somewhere down the road running to it...!

....don't you mean Junction 28 Podie?
26 seems too far round the race track!
