Safely home and my first experience of filling it up, Stew says ì have to get used to that lol!

Can't wait to have a drive now. Ran like a dream all the way home, stopped off on the way at friend's who were celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary, envy of everyone!

So proud of my new car- love it! Proper S girl now :0D

Just looks a really nice translucent finish Karen. I'll admit I had an old Mk111 capri 2.8 Special in that colour. Wish i'd never let it go. Hey ho. My current company hack is a little like it but a darker plum colour.
How old were you then Pete ? Sounds great you got pics?

Had a capri phase to be honest Karen. Mk11 2.0, Mk111 2.8 special burgundy and a Mk111 2.8 special white. If I have any photo's they won't be digital that's for sure! All a lot of fun, but they had a habit of rusting out down the A pillars and replacement front struts were also a nightmare then (probably are now too). I stupidly turned down an opportunity to acquire a supposedly genuine ford factory fitted brooklands turbo as well. Still kick myself for that one!!
I think most young men had a Capri phase, I know Stew did and most regret ever getting rid of theirs too, I don't think there are that many good examples left out there. Take digital photos of your non digital photos - job done! Ooh I bet you do that's an opportunity missed but another one might come up, you never know.

So, the seat has been moved forward, I have a pedal extender and took my car out for a short spin for the first time tonight. Gearbox will take a bit of getting used to just because I haven't driven a classic car before (gearbox is actually very smooth) looking forward to taking it out again. Love my S

Crikey - that IS close to the steering wheel!

I suppose you can keep your roof panels behind the seat instead of in the boot now...

Have fun,
Graham
Ha ha cheeky! (Can probably keep a lot of stuff behind the seat inside of the boot bounce

Thank you Graham x
