Is there a S meeting on the cards for the summer?

It would be great if a meet could be arranged just for S series cars, has this ever happened before!! There is the 'Griff Growl', how about the 'S Series Scream'?

Somewhere central so most S cars could make it, any suggestions? Podie/Pies could/have you organise something like this?

There was the Virginia Water S Club Heaven meeting back at the end of 2001, but that was before my S ownership time.

It would be good to have an S meeting, but it could be a bit of a nightmare to organise!

1.Find out where everybody lives
2.Find a location thats pretty central to most
3.Decide if its a w/end or just a Sat or Sun
4.If w/end check availability of hotels plus best if in August / Sept when out of peak season
5. Get the tvrcc involved to cover insurance and a bigger audience

Sounds like a good idea.
How about Gaydon national motor museum near Birmingham. Never been there myself but reading the motoring press they have a lot of that kind of thing and its as central as I can think of with good access.

Count me in.

I'm in Berkshire.

Mike

edited to add: Gaydon will provide parking outside the main arena, if that's the chosen venue; they regularly host owners meets.

I live in north oxfordshire
I think Gaydon is an excelent place for the meet easy access from the m40 and good A/B roads, Plenty of b&bs to stay at. To add I also work there!!!

TVRCC policy is it has to be open to all members, whatever car they drive - remember it's a fan club not an owners club! You also need an RO to 'sponsor' it, for the Insurance to apply.

However I can put it on the new website, in news and events.

The Griff bunch are going to Gaydon this year - so somewhere else would be better.
