Nice headlamps. Are they an indicator too?
thanks, yeah totally understand there not for everyone.Indeed they do, the halo pulses amber then the drl slowly fades back in after. Ill have to do a video to show them working there pretty cool (all credit to damians3, saw them on his S first but the black variation)

Very nice!
Do like the exhaust system with the pipes like that
thank you, they was setup like that with the big 6" cans before i even bought it, so i just went with 3" to stop grounding and left the setup the same, i think through the middle gives better clearance possibly?Do like the exhaust system with the pipes like that

Go on one of the Peak Nomads runs and you will find out whether you have adequate ground clearance!!!Barkychoc said:
I think they are a bit of a step too far for me - but it wouldn't do if we all liked the same styling
Got to admit I am not that keen on the headlights myself, and I did see them on Damiens. Somehow they seem to give the car a 'sad' appearance, or is that just me? Lots of other good bits on the car that I do like though.greymrj said:

@LeTVR
Think your right there, judging by the scrapes on my centre box it must of been that which I heard at the one classic car show meet up down knowle. Must say generally I do clear most speed bumps around Birmingham tho

Well done Steven...if it every breaks down, you could pick it up by the exhausts like a wheel barrow....
No, seriously, good job, well done
And re grounding, it is always the hockey stick Esmeralda that ground on a V6. Don't think the rest ever get hit.
Thanks Andy, blimey might add that to my gym regimeNo, seriously, good job, well done

Well I never! The Green Phantom is an actual reality!
A big thumbs up from me Steve, and good to see a TVR that will keep the Green Party confused!
I like what you've done but I'm in two minds about the headlamps. I'm sure that practically they are far more efficient and will light up the night a treat, but aesthetically they lose the classic look.
Well done for going all out to keep another S on the scene for years to come.
Your enjoyment starts now, welcome to the Pleasuredome!
See you around sometime soon.
Yours sincerely,
The Phantom Raspberry Blower.

why thank you glen, thought it was about time the phantom appeared.
Will be testing it out this weekend, its had ALOT of work done to it.
Yep they are a tad modern, was trying to find the balance by getting the chrome face variation but I've kept the original headlights too.
I'll pop the bonnet & unleash the green upon the world once I change over my air intake.

Very well done, great job with your own personal stamp on it
I would agree that the headlights take away a bit of the "classic" look, as do the rear lights and exhaust, but I also think it's good for people to do what they want as long as it's legal. The interior looks great (have you a seat cover on?) and I am sure smells better than mine......
I must ask and did mean to on the other thread of yours, re the coolant pipes, did you see the colour before committing or did you just order "green"?
Love the wheelbarrow comment
Now importantly you can enjoy having it back, whether that's driving it or simply having it "back home".

Cheers, must confess it was more of a toned down mid shade of green shown on the website when I ordered.
Yeah was just a seat cover to stop mechanic dirtying my newly trimmed seat.
Main thing is the spine of the car is all solid now, no more rust!
If ever it got sold on in the later years ive actually kept the original headlights etc so stuff can be put back the way it was if need be.
