Boot release Leaver
Discussion
Hi Glen,
Just a few last jobs ( taking forever) , just got the bonnet all lined up, boot now requiring a pull cable, have a solenoid and just making up the bracket. Doors on and locks and windows all working. Dash all finished and ready to go back in after painting. Most is done apart from installing a new ECU and TCU so that could be fun.
I am sure there will be some small things I have forgot about, I am looking for some fixings for the aluminium window channels that fix to the door, they look like self tapping screws or M4 counter sunk screws. I have some aero catches and some pin and like an R clip ones but not sure if they look right.
There is a new Plenum I need to weld but it can be done when the engine and box are out so they can paint the engine bay. I did not paint the under body and would like to lift the body off to do this, not sure if it will make any difference as it's not likely to rust is it.
Had to take a short break (4 months) due to her in doors wanting a few walls knocking down and a new kitchen and the old firm wanting work doing, other than that next job to sort out is painting at Option 1 and upholstery at Trim Unique.
