KANGAROOING CAR

Ok, another question from the novice. In low gear and quite low revs eg 2nd and 2000 car has a habit of violently kangarooing and juddering when tryig to maintain a low speed ie in traffic. I just thought that this was just a gearing problem or my crap driving. However this is now manifesting itself in other gears when not acclerating, but is not quite as pronounced.

Anyone got any ideas?

OK an update on the kangarooing car, changed all sorts of things, HT leads new plugs with correct gaps!! hoses the car passed its MOT even first time with only minor tweeks. Earlier this week thought the car was running beautifully but now things seem to have taken a definite turn for the worse. I had been noticing a metallic zinging noise when accelarating and decellarating and just thought that it was a particular resonance on the car. However this evening car has got rougher and rougher, am now picking up huge resonance and vibration at speed from the rear and this evening definite and loud metallic tinkle from I think either the gearbox or drive shaft. I have no idea where to start with this, and if it is the drive shaft or UJs what the hell are these off and where can I get them???? This is critical as the car is my commuting car coz I work away during the week and I cannot leave wife and kids with a knackered two seater while i take the family car!! HEELP !!!!!!! Am getting close to consigning TVR to those who can afford to play. Car is F reg s1.5 with 2.9l V6
