Has anyone had any problems caused by the starter motor? I wondered is the weak spark I am getting due to the starter motor as I have explored all other areas.

Across the coil it is about 3 volts when cranking. Have done all the earths, cleaned and checked all connections, but have not looked at the starter motor yet. I did read an old thread about the connections to the tacho could cause a problem?!!?
Cleaned up all the connections and all of a sudden I am getting a fantastic spark. The downside is the fuel pump 25 amp fuse now blows everytime I crank the motor! When will this end.
if the pump has seized would that cause the fuse to blow? There was only two wires on the starter motor that I cleaned and because of the connections you couldnt mix them up
