I'm a lucky boy. If the S3 gets left out without it's cover in a torrential down pour (such as last weekend for example) - the boot fills up - which is handy in summer as I can use it as a paddling pool.

Now it has to be said that the design of the boot lid is a bit crap - the trench created by the lid in it's sill is so bound to fill up in the rain. Is this is common problem ? Is it just a case of new seals - or has everyone else been drilling plug holes in the bottom ?

Thanks,

WG

Did this simple job with a coathanger at the weekend and it's now all sorted. Thankyou all.

Incidently - discovered that a bicycle pump and a bucket of water is quite good for blasting detritus thru once the initial blockage has shifted.
