S3 or S3C

Got a J reg S3, was wondering if it could be a S3C, is there any quick way I can tell? Never had to deal with Cats when I did minis.

So I guess if I have a CAT I have a LSD on it? Is there anyway I can test for the LSD other than the afore mentioned method of revving it and dumping the clutch?

What is the impact of having the LSD on the rear? Never driven a car with and LSD before.

I do have the S2 style bonnet.

Just want to find out if it is a S3C or not.

Podie, a pic would be really helpful. (Am I setting myself up for a nob gag?)

Ah, I read somewhere that the S3s came with bonnets like Podies. That's all. My dad reckons I may have a LSD. Said he thought it felt like it when he drove it.

I got a load of options with the car such as eletric mirrors, S3C bonnet( witht he hump), driving lights also. But still can't tell. Ah! It's all so complicated.

True, true. I did almost give up and end up with a Numpty shopping trolly. But as for enjoying the car, unfortunately I don't have it at the moment. It's off getting it's new hood put on. Shoould get it back either tonight or tomorrow. For the moment minimax has lent me his Seciento Sporting.

Can someone ring the air flow meters on a photo for me? Or am I on just a pointless quest?

Also many thanks to all, for helping me. I have no acertained that I have an S3. No C. But I do have a lot of options so LSD? Who knows? Will get someone to check eventually.

I hated doing tappets on my mini! Can't wit to do them on the V6! Not! Can you tell ifyou have hydraulic tappet?
